Shades of Grey

Altar Bridal heads to the big city for market in a few weeks to see our designer’s newest collections; in the meantime we will imagine all the beauties that await us. Ready to Wear is still full of soft lace and floral details which have graced our brides on their big day. One trend on the runways at NYC’s fashion week last week that I can’t help but translate to bridal is the popularity of the color grey.

Color in wedding gowns is something that I enjoy and I think is such a creative way for a bride to express her personality. While most brides will opt for classic shades of white or ivory, we are seeing more and more incorporate champagne, blush, black, and blue. My most recent crush is a beautiful silvery shade of grey. Silver, like champagne, doesn’t stray too far from tradition but still makes a statement. Check out a few favorites below by some of our designers here at Altar.
