Real Bride: Lindy B.
Lindy and Tyler got married one year and one month ago in the most romantic setting with their ceremony at a beautiful church in Fayette, MO and their reception continuing at a banquet hall in downtown Brunswick, MO. Take a look into their story and their day with photos captured by Kinsey Mhire. Happy Anniversary and thank you for sharing your day with us!
From the bride: Tyler and Lindy officially met on a Memorial Weekend evening in 2012 at Lake Nehai. Lindy was convinced by her friend and Matron-of-Honor, Camille Fuemmeler, to join the bonfire at Tyler’s lake lot. It was then that Lindy was introduced to Tyler and all of his ornery friends. The two hit it off from there and Camille still claims herself the “match-maker.”
Several years and adventures later, Tyler had a special secret planned with the help of Kayla Hewitt, Lindy’s sister and Matron-of-Honor, and the match-maker herself, Camille. It took months of planning, sneaky emails, trips to Kansas City, and one solid convincing story to tell Lindy. Somehow, they managed to slip by Lindy’s radar for surprises and planned an amazing Hermann Winery proposal.
The story was “Brandon likes wine and he has always wanted to go to Hermann,” says Camille. As Lindy has always wanted to tour the wineries in Hermann, she was easily convinced. The “Hermann Wine-Hop and Couples Weekend” was planned and the four headed to Hermann on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. As the elaborate story continues, Camille borrowed Lindy’s purse and claimed “Brandon is sick and I’m putting his Kleenexes in this pocket,” which clearly warded germaphobe Lindy off from nosing inside where the ring was hiding. They spent the day hopping from winery to winery until they landed at OakGlenn Vineyards & Winery, where they bought a bottle of wine and decided to sit out on the patio. Camille, once again, convinced Lindy to walk out towards the edge and take a picture. It was there on the bluff top overlooking the Missouri River and vineyard, that Tyler got down on one knee and nervously asked Lindy to marry him as she turned around. The two caught the Luck of the Irish on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend as Lindy said “YES” on March 14th, 2015. They have been planning for life as MR & MRS ever since!
