Real Bride: Danielle M.
From the bride: Clint and I met in Kansas City in May of 2013 where we had our first date at a Royals Game. After about a year of dating, Clint had an opportunity to move to Oklahoma City for his job. We continued to date for 8 months making weekend trips back and forth. (He was a trooper and made most of the trips back up to me.) In November of 2014 he surprised me with plane tickets to my family’s condo in Marco Island, Florida. Little did I know this was the trip where he would propose and have my parents there to surprise me! They were able to watch from the balcony overlooking the beach where he popped the question! We planned a small intimate wedding- we had 23 people there- on the beach exactly where he proposed! The ceremony was more than I could have ever imagined with our closest friends and family- a few dolphins even made an appearance while we exchanged our vows. We put a lot of detail into our reception; I wanted it to feel like a relaxed, chic, family get together! Also, Clint is the biggest Alabama Crimson Tide fan so I was sure to incorporate that into the wedding. During the recessional, I had the violinists play the Alabama fight song and had a custom Alabama cake made. The entire weekend was amazing and we wouldn’t have changed a thing!
