Real Bride: Caroline G.

From the bride:

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted my wedding to be at Saddle & Sirloin. I grew up riding there, spending countless hours in the saddle and exploring the beautiful property tucked away in Kansas City. Horses are a big part of both Matt and I’s lives, and they even contributed to the beginning of our relationship!

We met at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) but things didn’t get serious until I needed to find some hay for my horse. I knew Matt was on the rodeo team and had his horse here and so I got his number, and the rest is history!

Matt and I got engaged in April on a friend’s ranch in Texas. Of course, there were horses involved.

We wanted our wedding to be simple and tasteful, and relaxed; we dreamed of something reflecting both our styles. Matt and his groomsmen wore cowboy boots and so did I (brides, I recommend this, I danced all night!). Everything from start to finish was perfect and looking back now we wouldn’t have changed one detail! We are so thankful to have had the perfect venue, amazing vendors and the best people to celebrate with.
