Real Bride Blog: Ali

Welcoming, carefree, fun and relaxed ~ All words our real bride Ali wanted to describe her wedding day. And the day was just that. Ali and Chaz started their path to their big day with a mountain and champagne proposal and continued the perfect pairing right to the altar! We are in love with Ali’s easy breezy attitude and nature centered romance that was the epitome of her big day!

From the beautiful bride: Chaz and I got engaged next to a campfire in the mountains of Colorado. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Just the 2 of us next to a campfire with no cell phone signal and some champagne. I actually made fun of him because I couldn’t figure out why he was so adamant about bringing champagne up to the mountain with us until he popped the question.

The mountain was what gave me my first sense of what I wanted my wedding to be. I knew I wanted an outdoor wedding with a carefree, welcoming environment that everyone could have fun and relax. That is who we are and that is what I wanted the first day of the rest of our lives to feel like.  Even the rain and thunderstorms couldn’t ruin our day. We moved the ceremony inside and it turned out to be even more gorgeous than I could ever have dreamed. And the best part was it didn’t rain until right before so we had an air of freshness behind us during the vows.

The dress was perfect, the man was perfect, and the day was perfect. I sometimes think I would love to do it again, with all the same people and in the same place but I don’t think we could recreate something so effortless and wonderful. I really could not have asked for a better day.
