From the Bride:
Anthony and I met at the Lake of the Ozarks and after three months of trying, I decided to give him a chance. After our first date, we both knew right away that we were right for each other. After that, we both told our parents we met the person we would marry. We moved in right away and got engaged 10 months later.
Anthony proposed out at Scout Statue; he had asked me to be his girlfriend and we decided to buy a house at this same spot. I am from St. Louis, but after falling in love with Kansas City we decided our wedding should be KC themed, very modern but romantic.
On the day of, I was definitely expecting to be a nervous ball of energy (not a huge fan of being center of attention), but shockingly enough I was not. My maid of honor put together a book of letters from my family, Anthony’s family and my best friends. Anthony thought he would be breezy and fun, but ended up shockingly full of happy emotions (we seemed to have flipped personalities that day, him usually being calm cool and collected me being an emotional roller coaster). It was an amazing day full of laughter and fun. The wedding went off without a hitch and everyone danced the night away!
We are looking forward to this summer filled with traveling and relaxing – a nice break from the whirlwind of the first two and a half years of dating and planning wedding!
