National Bridal Sale! July 15th – July 21st
This week long event was born out of a collective desire from bridal salons nationally to help brides find their dream dress at a fraction of the price. Our sale will kick off on Saturday, July 15th (our appointments are almost completely booked up!) and continue on thru Friday, July 21st. Stop in anytime during our normal business hours or make an appointment to check out the gowns we have on sale. Come ready to find your dream dress at a dream price! New to gown shopping and not sure what to expect? Read on for some advice!
What is a Sample Sale?
Sample sale gowns are the stock pieces in the store that one would normally try on during an appointment when shopping for a gown. Therefore, some of the gowns do have a bit of wear and tear. We would never sell a gown that was beyond repair, but most gowns do need a bit of a cleaning and we can definitely help to arrange that.
What size are the Sample Sale gowns?
Sample sale gowns are typically in a bridal size 10 or 12. These sizes typically translate into a standard size 6-10 and a bra cup size of a B/C. The standard length of a gown typically does not work well for someone that is shorter than 5′ or taller than 5’10. Bridal gowns can typically be tailored down 2-3 sizes, however much more difficult to go up in size.
Do you have any shopping tips for the Sample Sale?
1.) Arrive early. There will be plenty of brides who are excited for this week long event! Come early and prepare to have the largest selection of gowns to choose from. If you can’t make it this Saturday, don’t fret!! There will still be great gowns to choose from next week.
2.) Dress accordingly. For ease of dressing and undressing, you may want to wear clothes that are easy to slip on and off. Also, you may want to bring a strapless bra and/or SPANX – this may help you get the best visual of the fit of a gown in appropriate undergarments.
3.) Be prepared to fall in love! We have only one of each gown sampled in the store, so when you fall in love with your gown, be prepared to purchase. The gowns you leave behind will be available for other brides to choose from.
