Real Bride: Maggie D.

As one of the only vendors that is not present on the wedding day, we anxiously await the day when our Altar Brides send us their photos! We have been so excited to see Maggie and Matt’s big day. Maggie is a mid-west bride who now lives in Chattanooga, TN. She and her fiance Matt chose a gorgeous art museum for their fall wedding reception and we couldn’t wait to see all the day of details. We hope you enjoy their effortless and elegant wedding day as much as we did. Cheers to the happy couple!

From the Bride:

Matt and I met over a shared passion for whitewater kayaking. After many outdoor adventures, during one bike ride,  in a beautiful place called the Virginia Creeper trail in Damascus, VA, we became engaged. The planning started soon after, and with many, many beautiful options in the world, I knew I needed to narrow down my focus to create a direction. The day I went to pick out dresses, I decided on three words to describe my wedding: carefree, elegant, and organic. The day lived up to my chosen words. The weather was perfect and all elements of the day came together beautifully. We are grateful to all those who came to celebrate our special day.
