Heidi Elnora: TLC Bride By Design

Who wouldn’t want a couture gown without the couture prices?!? One of Altar’s featured designers: Heidi Elnora couldn’t agree with that sentiment more! Heidi’s name may ring some bells due to her breakout appearance from a little show called Project Runway which Heidi was featured on in their second season! Heidi may have had a high profile entrance into the fashion mainstream through the show but had humble beginnings that have kept her steadily moving forward in the world of bridal and right into our hearts.

Heidi began her adventure into fashion at the Savannah College of Arts and Design where she graduated from in 2002. After her graduation Heidi began designing for Carters and eventually worked to begin her own line of bridal gowns: Heidi Elnora which she established in 2006. Heidi and her team of artisans work out of a boutique studio based in Alabama focusing on bringing charming southern rooted designs to brides near and far.

Heidi will be adding to her small screen repertoire this spring in partnering with TLC in a new show called Bride by Design, on which each week Heidi and her team will take on the task of finding brides the perfect gown! Heidi will work to outfit each bride with the perfect look whether that means designing a gown from scratch or utilizing her own Build a Bride designs that features classic and timeless pieces that a bride can then incorporate her own unique style and flare, making it her own! Altar Bridal will be hosting a Heidi Elnora- Build a Bride Trunk Show Friday, May 29th – Sunday, May 31st and is so excited to share these unique looks with our Kansas City brides! Give us a call to go ahead and schedule your appointment.

Altar Bridal would like to personally congratulate Heidi on all of her accomplishments thus far and is proud to have Heidi as part of our designer family! Congratulations Heidi!
